Reservation Policy

Reservations should ideally be made through this online form. You can also make a reservation by email, text or telephone. A McScoots agent will respond within 24 hours acknowledging receipt of your reservation request. We cannot confirm reservations without a valid Visa or MasterCard credit card number.  Note that we will pre-authorize the greater of the insurance deductible or $2500 (CAD) covering your rental deposit at the time of your departure.

To make your journey more enjoyable, be sure to bring the following items with you:

• Driver's license

• Eye protection / sunglasses

• Sunscreen

• Camera!!

• DOT helmets are included with all rentals.

 

We expect all motorcycle operators to possess a good level of competence for the type and size of motorcycle being rented. Recent experience is a must.

Cancellation, Reservation Change, Early or Late Return Policy

• Single day reservations (8hr or 24hr): 48 hours notice

• Up to one week reservations: 2 weeks notice

• One week or longer reservations: 30 days notice

Cancellation or reservation changes outside of the above time frames will be charged 1/2 of the base rent lost. Normally, we offer to rebook or reschedule for an equal duration or longer. No Shows will be charged the full rental due. No refunds on early returns. Late returns may result in additional charges.

 

We do not expect our clients to ride in ugly weather... especially on single day reservations.
