DAY SEVEN

We take our shortest ride of the tour today (120 Km).  North, through the heart of the Rockies, we arrive at the world famous Banff.  Wildlife galore (moose, elk, bear, mountain sheep) and more unbelievable scenery that will leave you speechless. We arrive at Banff well before noon leaving the balance of the day to explore the sights and attractions.  This town is amazing!  Too much for one day. Tonight and the next night are spent in our favourite downtown hotel..

A free day in Banff. (well not really free....this place can be a bit on the pricey side!)  So much to do with so little time! If you prefer to ride some more perhaps a scenic ride along the Bow Valley Parkway or a ride up to the Columbia Ice Fields in Jasper National Park will do the trick. It's beautiful to say the least!  We'll show you what's worth seeing and doing and point you in the right direction. The fun is up to you!  See you in the morning.

DAY NINE

Off we go again! West to Lake Louise (a must stop) and on through Yoho National Park and the Kicking Horse Pass.  Lunch in Golden and westward ho to Revelstoke.  Sites abound in Glacier and Revelstoke National Parks. Today's destination is Halcyon Hot Springs in the heart of the Arrow Lakes. Rustic but very comfortable chalets await us as well as an scrumptious outdoor barbecue. And, of course, another night of roughing it soaking up the mineral water in the hot springs. Life's tough isn't it?
